Year 5 Dark Ages
This half term, our topic has been ‘The Dark Ages’, and Year 5 have really enjoyed bringing history to life!
This week, we took part in a fantastic Viking workshop where the children explored real artefacts, learned about Viking life and even joined in with a lively mock battle. Everyone had a brilliant time and learned so much.
In DT, we’ve also been busy designing and making our own Anglo-Saxon dwellings, showing great creativity and teamwork.
It’s been a wonderful half term of hands-on learning and enthusiasm — well done, Year 5!

We would like to invite parents and carers to our Year 5 and Year coffee morning on 24th September from 9:00 - 9:45am. This will be an opportunity for you to meet school staff and other parents.
